FAQ

Question:
Can you provide me some helpful hints for writing a business plan?

Answer:
I would like you to know that there is only one person that should be writing your business plan – that is YOU!  Please concentrate on the contents, not the format.

  • be prepared to spend many weeks or months completing your plan

  • the business plan should provide the reader with a clear understanding of your objectives, strategies, and financial viability.

  • estimated length should be about 20 pages…quality  over quantity,

  • focus on your intended reader and avoid highly technical language or descriptions

  • be willing to update the information

  • be realistic/honest about positive or negative findings

  • provide data, evidence, supporting material, documentation and  assumptions with your statements

  • the executive summary is the last section to be written

  • the business plan must answer the question of…Why customers are going to call me for my product or service ?
