Business Plan Templates

A business plan is a written outline of the aspects of your business.  The plan is crucial if you plan on starting or buying a business, financing your business or raising equity capital.  Such a plan is also a helpful working tool because it shows the details of your business and potential weak points that need to be addressed.  As your business grows and changes, your business plan will guide you through each stage of your business’s life cycle.  This also allows you to show lenders everything they need to know if you plan to apply for a business loan.

There are different ways to write a business plan, but the following outlines cover the basic components that you should include: the Executive Summary, Business Description, Managers & Employees, Operations & Location, Marketing and Financials.
